We had camped here two years before and enjoyed it. Today it is a slum campsite taken over by seasonals in campers falling apart, kitchen tents dumping their wash water onto your site and yelling across your site to speak with other seasonals.

If you want to run a campsite that is also and wedding venue that's up to you, but it would have been a simple courtesy to let guests know before they book so they can decide if that's for them.

The beach is great. The camping is horrible because the seasonal are running wires, hoses and even encroaching on the campsite you rented by using your picnic table as a tie point for their many tarps and tents. We pulled into site 88 and we faced with this plus a full site length of a clothesline with underwear and undershirts. 3 underwear had actually blown off their clothesline onto the middle of our site. The two shirtless males swigging back beers on the picnic table next to us just stared as my wife kicked on of the underwear into the air towards their lot (77).

We booked the day ahead of our visit but what they neglected to mention at the time of our booking is that they were having a WEDDING PARTY right opposite our pitch (which was supposedly in the "premium" area)

Do not even consider camping here unless you are prepared to pickup your neighbours underwear every day and return it to them.

Great park, awesome beach (on the one side anyway) and they have wifi throughout the whole park.

The music was blasting throughout the day from midday to about 1am!! The party only seemed to stop because there were a number of complaints from other guests (campsite staff nowhere to be seen)

Have changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars on balance. Some customer service training for the staff would help. The site itself is well kept and the beach next to it is beautiful

Came here to camp (tent) after a quick drive from Buffalo, NY (less than an hour away). The beach is amazing, and even though it was a hot day in August, it was quiet and very private. I definitely encourage the "premium" spots, which have a little more privacy and were 100% tent occupied, right on the water!

In a full state if depression we returned to the office and asked for a refund, did not get it, so we left and kissed our two night fee goodbye. I will be initiating a chargeback with master card.

I was extremely disappointed. The beach was unkept, with tall grass making it very difficult to access. The day picnic area was almost non existent with most of the area given over to camping. What a shame, it used to be the place to go for a lovely day at the beach. I certainly will not go back. This is definitely a black spot on our provincial parks.

Really poor experience with this site. Won't ever be booking this place again.

When we complained the following morning (having had a bad night's sleep) we were met with a shrug and told simply "one of the seasonal campers wanted to have a party"

----- Update from original : we've since been contacted by the management with an apology and a complimentary night's camping as a gesture of goodwill. We also had an explanation that there was a misunderstanding and that the wedding party were supposed o have used a different area away from the pitches

Pretty appalled by their response to a complaint. Made it even more galling that their campsite "regulations" prohibit "noisy' behaviour and ask for "consideration" for other guests.

    Appreciated the apology and gesture
